This post came so late due to a fault linked to blogger's incompatibility with the proxy server of our broadband provider Singnet's connection. I wasn't able to upload any pics with any of my entries and I only had the prob fixed last week after I asked for help in the Blogger Forum. Phew! Now that prob's been solved, I am more than happy to share the rest of our Bali trip report. Feel so bad that it's almost 2 months overdue. ALiLA Ubud is a luxury boutique resort tucked away in a secluded … [Read more...]

5 Ways to Build a Meaningful Holiday For Kids

Now that the wish is fulfilled, we have brought both our kids to more than 13 countries. We would be first to admit that travelling with kids is tough but yet, we will not stop doing so. Club Med Kani, Maldives – A Review
Deja-Vu A lump surfaced in my throat as I saw my 4 year old, climbing up the 2-storey high trapeze pitched at the beach front. Just like that, without any fanfare, he did it – he leapt off the trapeze and 'flew’, eyes forward in determination. He hung on tight before letting go, much to the applause of everyone - congratulating all 4 years old of him. He went on to try the flying trapeze another 3 times across the two nights that we stayed at Club Med Kani. His sister outdone … [Read more...]

Singapore Zoo is the ideal place to cultivate a love for flora and fauna. As working parents, we usually can only visit the Zoo during weekends and school holidays. To maximize our visit, we usually arrive early in the morning. Going early has many benefits: Watch the animals at their liveliest as they wake-up, much like us! Enjoy the … [Read more...]

The Fullerton Spa and Champagne Brunch – A Mothers’ Day Special at The Fullerton Hotel
Due to the intimate nature of massages, I confess I am very fussy about who the spa service provider is. In fact, I’ve turned down many invites to review spa services previously. But with The Fullerton Spa, it’s entirely a different story. I first experienced massages at The Fullerton Spa during our stay at the Fullerton Bay Hotel last year. I remembered telling David that we’ve finally found THE spa that could rival even the best spa experiences we’ve had overseas especially in top … [Read more...]
