Childhood is perhaps the best part of anyone’s life. Children’s Day is a special day that aims to celebrate the innocence of childhood, the most wonderful stage in the life of a person. Children’s Day is celebrated on different days in different countries across the world. For e.g. In Japan, it is celebrated on the 5th of May; In China, on 1 June; In Hong Kong, 4th April and In India, 14th November. In Singapore, we celebrate Children’s Day on 1st October.
Children all over the world look forward to Children’s Day as it’s usually a time to pray for the health and happiness of the country’s children and to give them special treats and gifts. 🙂
Dana’s school will be celebrating Children’s Day tomorrow with a fancy dress parade and so we’ll be dolling her up in this sweet Pink Poodle Costume. Doesn’t she look oh so adorable? Dana would like to wish all young readers of her blog (and those young at heart) a very Happy Children’s Day!
