We love KidZania and have been to its KL and Bangkok branches. We love it for the fun, educational and interactive role-playing experiences that kids from 4 to 14 can participate in! Best of all, parents can witness their kids in action! It’s like an amusement park but better – kids learn, kids share with their parents and families grow closer together from the entire experience!
Singapore’s very own KidZania is almost ready for boarding!
Concept of KidZania
KidZania (which translated means ‘the land of cool kids’) is more than simply a kid’s theme park and a family edutainment centre. KidZania is a kid-sized city where children (4 and above) can pick from a large number of role-playing activities, earn a salary (in the form of kidZos, the official currency of KidZania), pay for goods and services and manage an ATM card – all the things they see adults do in real life. In KidZania, kids are empowered to take charge and make their own decisions, through role-play.
Kids can role-play many professions and earn their own ‘salary’! Read Dana’s experience at KidZania KL here.
By blending reality with entertainment, KidZania provides an authentic and powerful developmental learning opportunity for kids to understand and manage their world. In KidZania, kids are empowered to make their own decisions and learn through hands-on activities. They are entertained while they learn, pick up new skills and continually gain new experiences each time they revisit the city.

With KidZania Singapore opening in April 2016, kids can look forward to try a whole host of occupations. This includes piloting an airplane, putting out fires, being a paramedic, a surgeon or a dentist, hosting and supporting the production of a television program, being a fashion model, a scientist, a CSI agent or a chef. To see these activities in action, hop over to our ‘How to Maximise Your Day At KidZania KL‘ blog post.

KidZania Singapore now partners with 33 real-world industry partners and brands to give the visitors a holistic experience like no other. At this morning’s Media Conference where Qatar Airways was unveiled as its aviation industry partner, we were thrilled to know that KidZania Singapore will be the first and only KidZania in the world to house a life-size decommissioned Boeing 737 Fuselage within the premise so that parents can participate in the KidZania experience as airline passengers and be serviced by their children who are role-playing as aspiring pilots and cabin crew in the Aviation Academy. It will also be one of the few KidZanias around the world with a Stadium. How cool is that?
The majestic facade of KidZania SG – with a life-size Boeing 737 at its entrance! Yup, full wing span tip to tip and we parents get to sit in it for an immersive experience!

My daughter is turning 8 this 12 April and I would like to hold her birthday party there . Will it be open by then and can I have some details on the birthday package? Thanks

I haven’t been to any Kidzania although I heard so much about them. I reckoned the kids need to be a bit older for them to fully appreciate role-playing. Think Kidzania Singapore will be their first, since the kids will be 3 and 5 by the time it opens. Just the right age to get started I think!

The venue looks very vibrant and kids should love it. Kidzania is a bit late to arrive in SG but better late than never. Would take my kids there for sure.
