Banana Tofu Puree
Tofu is a soybean curd and unfermented soy and is a great source of iron, protein and calcium. As Tofu is a soy product, you should not offer it to a baby who has any allergy to soy.
Although tofu has almost no taste of its own, it combines well with either fruit or vegetables to make a creamy puree.
Ingredients
1 small banana 50g
3oz soft Tofu (I bought the Organic Silken Tofu from NTUC)
Method:1. Steam tofu for 5 mins (*optional)
2. Peel and mash the banana
3. Mix together with the tofu
4. Blend into a smooth puree and serve
Note: Tofu may be stored in the fridge for up to 7 days. You must store it in a container that is airtight. You can also mix tofu with other fruits like pureed mango, papaya, avocado, pears on their own or mixed with banana.

Dana Mummy and Daddy says
Hi Charismama,
nice to see you here. I served the banana tofu puree at our playdate this afternoon. Yes, I steamed the tofu for 5 mins but the original recipe did not include this step. The organic tofu which I bought can be served chilled so it’s up to you 🙂
