Daddy and I seldom venture to ECP as it’s a long drive from the west (where we live) and it’s perpetually packed with people (esp weekends). But recently we discovered there’s actually a lot of fun things for the little ones to explore at ECP and cycling is one of them!
Ever since Maddy’s Mummy shared with us that there are bicycles with attached babyseats for rent, we’ve been waiting for a chance to bring Dana cycling. Last Sunday, we finally found the time for the excursion. We reached ECP at 10am. The park was abuzz with skaters, roller-bladers and cyclists. We headed to a kiosk to rent our bikes, strapped our Princess in and started riding.
Dana was a bit hesitant at first so Daddy had to cycle slower than usual to let her get used to the sensation of cycling. It’s been a while since I last rode a bicycle and I’m so relieved I could still cycle!
It was well-worth the trip despite the humid weather. We had a good workout and most importantly, we forged yet another new experience for Dana – her 1st time on a bicycle! It was a lovely Sunday out with the sun and the sea. We hope we can bring Dana for more leisurely outdoor activities like these.
