We were rather desperate. After our move to our new home, our 3 yr old son, Buddy has had recurrent wheezing and coughing episodes which seem to start whenever he enters his bedroom. He could be fine and fit in the living room but the moment he steps onto his bed, the coughing fit would start. We were very concerned to find out the triggers as we were worried he might develop into full-blown respiratory tract infection if this persists. ‘Seeing’ Dirty Air If you know that … [Read more...]

Today Got Class – Make It, Code It Camp
Finally, one of our wishes came true. We are not full-time bloggers. We are regular full time working parents like most. As such, we struggle with finding meaningful activities to occupy our kids, especially during school holidays. Choosing a holiday course or camp for our children is always a gamble. Everything on brochures looks good…until you or your children experience it and we’ve had our fair share of hits…and misses these past few years. For Parents, by Parents This is where … [Read more...]
Crowne Plaza, Copenhagen Towers
Doing a DIY trip can be quite unnerving, especially so with young lively kids and to a far flung cities. Even though DIY trips give us greater control over the itinerary and potentially cost-savings, whenever we plan a DIY trip, we look out for good, affordable accommodation that can provide us with just that little bit of extra comfort. This was our 2nd time visiting the Danish Capital (the first was with an organised tour group to Scandinavian in June 2016), and we've … [Read more...]
Doctor For a Day 2017 by Mount Elizabeth Hospitals Singapore
Before we share our experience on this year's ‘Doctor For A Day’ program, we want to give a shout-out to both Mt. Elizabeth Orchard Road and Mt. Elizabeth Novena for the great job they are doing. A&E – Government or Private? No one likes emergencies, especially when the emergencies involve our own children. But as luck would have it, both our kids have been treated at A&E more than once. In fact, our 3 year old son has been sent to A&E three times. In case you think we are one … [Read more...]

{Giveaway} Celebrate Christmas with Morganfield’s!
The year-end season is a time for gatherings. Whether it's with families, colleagues or friends, it's a wonderful time to slow our pace and catch-up over a nice meal, perhaps even usher in the new year together! However, not many of us have the bandwidth to whip-up a Christmas meal let alone host one. Then after the meal, there's the cleaning up 'operation' . Before you know it, what was envisioned as a relaxed gathering has just morphed into a highly-strung nightmare (esp for the cook!)! … [Read more...]
OCBC Cycle 2017: Defining Moment for Daddy and Daughter
I’ve always believed that we need to expose our children to outdoor activities that develop their gross motor skills and confidence to master new sports. It’s important to start young when their physiques are smaller and their CG (Center of Gravity) lower. Their mindsets are also much more malleable, making them more receptive to learning new skills. As soon as my daughter became physically independent at 3 yrs old – being able to walk, run and jump confidently, we have started introducing … [Read more...]

This makes the Skyline Luge one of the most popular attractions in Sentosa. Kids as young as 3 or 4 years old can start riding the Luge with an adult while older kids can manoeuvr the Luge on their own with relative ease.
