The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that every child should have their first dental consultation by their first birthday. This can encourage early prevention and intervention from serious damage to our children’s teeth.
What can you expect at your child’s first dental visit?
During the dental consultation, the children will be orientated to the dental setting. They will be shown the dental chair and examination tools by the experienced children’s dental specialist. This is then followed by a dental examination and gentle polishing and fluoride application. If required, a risk assessment and treatment plan will be suggested with oral hygiene instructions. Recommended for all children aged 3 to 6.

My 5 year old first trip to the dentist wasn’t a pleasant experience at all. Since then, I’ve been searching for a kids friendly dental for her so this is really timely for me!

Hi!
I have not brought my 2 years and 10 months old to the dentist! He’s turning 3 in February. So I believe now is a good time to check on his teeth.
I actually have been wanting to, but wasn’t sure which dentist would be the best for him as I fear that he will not like the trip to the dentist. It would be great to win this consultation session for my boy’s first ever dentist visit! It will be nice to win this giveaway.
Thank you and wishing your family a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!

My boys are 3yo and 6yo but they have never been to a dentist yet as we heard many stories of how the kid got scare after the visit to the dentist. We tried searching online but we still couldnt decide on one.. After reading your blog, it seems like The Dental Studio has a very nice and patient dentist that is good with kids. I hope we can win this free consultation so that my kids can have a good start and experience and maybe eventually, it will be our children’ dentist going forward.

Hoping to win the giveaway for my no.3 to visit Dr.Terry, As she has some issue with her teeth.
No.2 used to be Dr. Terry’s patient at national dental since she was 3 and she says he is still the best dentist.
To me, he has the skills to put his young patient at ease and thus dental treatment is more conforting and less painful.
This is most important to all parents who bring our kids for any medical treatment.
Regards.

Our first dental experience was unforeseen as my child had a n accident in school which caused one of her front teeth went up into her gum. As her wound was infected we had to bring her to kkh a&e to be seen by the duty dentist, which wasn’t a very good experience for her.
I hope to give her a positive experience on dentist visit.

My 3 years old toddler has not been to any dentist yet. I’d really love to win this cos I want a dentist to tell him how important brushing teeth is. He usually listens to others more than us. Recently he’s been putting fingers in his mouth and I asked him Isit because his teeth is painful and he said yes. So this will come at the right time to bring him to the dentist to check!
