One day a boy finds a plane in his cupboard. He flies higher and higher until he lands on the moon. He is frightened, lost and alone until a passing Martian lands there too! Who is the strange alien? Can they be friends? And how will they find their way back home?

This exciting new production for families and young children (suitable for 3 and up) has been created by the team behind the hit shows ‘Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus’ and ‘The Night Before Christmas’.  You can catch ‘The Way Back Home’ for a strictly limited engagement in the NEWLY RENOVATED Alliance Française Theatre at Sarkies Road.

    Oliver Jeffers are well known for its beautifully illustrated stories, definitely love to watch their live performance. And my elder son loves watching Musical play.

  12. I love Oliver Jeffers and how his books are somewhat thought provoking. The thoughts that come out from my kids after reading his books really amuses me and also teaches me more of what goes on in their heads.

  16. Introduced Oliver Jeffers to my boy when he was 3yo and he didn’t showed much interest. But now at 5, the Galaxy, planets, solar system are simply his favorite topics. Hope I can reintroduce this wonderful writer to him again!

  23. We have not read this book before but it’s definitely interesting to see how the boy and alien become friends. Through it i hope my boy can see and appreciate the value of friendship 🙂

  30. My 3 year old boy stumble on this author book and developed strong interest in all Oliver Jefers’ books. He had read all his titles and can even read some of the word in the book .Everytime we go to the library he will definitely ask for it and even to the extend of getting his DVD. That’s why Hope to win tickets so that he can watch this come to life in action.

  34. My nephew is growing up without parents… they are just 3 and 4 so it will be a great opportunity for me to bring them out to see a production. Though they have not yet read the story, as boys who adores spaceships and adventures they will definitely love the show for sure..
