When I was growing up, my family wasn’t well-to-do. In fact, my Mom held two jobs just to keep the household afloat.  So I particularly looked forward to Chinese New Year – for it was the ONLY time in the year when we can afford to buy new clothes and shoes.  Somehow its significance stuck with me and I carried on this tradition of buying new clothes for the family till this day every Chinese New Year.

I was over the moon to receive the invite to the preview of Fox Fashion’s Kids & Baby Spring/Summer Collection.  Dana, together with kids from nine other popular bloggers descended at Fox City Square Mall outlet bright and early last Saturday morning. The task? To pick out any outfits of their choice for the first two days of Chinese New Year!

Being the Fox fan and the decisive shopper that I am, it didn’t take long for me (the Mommy) to pick out these two outfits for Dana (the cooperative model):  An auspicious red-tiered dress for Day 1 (matched with a tiny white cardigan, size 24 months) and a spunky white Hello Kitty dress for Day 2 which she carries off so well with incredible style.
