100 Acts of Kindness 2013 – Kicking off on Monday, 21 January 2013 and ending it with a giant Kindness Celebration on Valentine’s Day- 14 February 2013! 

As a parent, do you want to instill in your children more compassion for the world around them and see them practise kindness to others?

Do you wish to look for the positive in your children and your spouses more than normal? Are you seeking ways to serve others and make an impact?

If your answer to any of the above is YES, join Princess Dana Diaries and bloggers around the world in this 100 Acts of Kindness Project which I chanced upon from the Toddler Approved Facebook page.

How can you participate?

1. Pledge your support by leaving a comment to accomplish 100 Acts of Kindness with your families over the next four weeks (21 Jan to 14 Feb 2013).

2. Participate in each week’s simple challenge. One challenge will be revealed at Toddler Approved’s webpage each Monday for four weeks. Or you can visit my blog every Monday as I’ll be re-posting the challenges here. Simply click on the buttons shown below to find out your challenge for the week.

The first challenge will be revealed on 21 Jan 2013.

A sample weekly challenge looks like this:

Make 5 “Thank You Cards” and give them to people you’ve never thought to thank before .. . . like your mail carrier, the men and women at your local police post, your favorite librarian, the bus attendant, your domestic helper etc…

3.Blog about your acts of kindness (or find other creative ways to record it. You can find several ideas here from other bloggers who participated last year).

4. Join in the Grand Kindness Celebration on Valentine’s Day, 14th Feb 2013!

Everyone is invited to join in this kindness celebration! We can all do small things to make our homes, families, communities, schools, and workplaces just a little bit better.
