This being the last week of the June vacation, we signed Dana up for three days of art camp at Abrakadoodle to keep her meaningfully occupied. We’ve chosen the ‘Big Abrakadoodle Circus‘ camp which spells fun! We like Abrakadoodle for its proximity to our home, creative curriculum involving a wide range of mediums and their spontaneous rapport with the children. As with all their camps, parents are invited for a short ‘Show & Tell’ session on the last day where each child would pick their favourite art piece done at the camp and share with the audience how it was produced.
Dana and Meredith, two of the youngest participants presented their art pieces together… |

She looks forward to Show & Tell time at every camp! |
These ‘Show & Tell’ sessions are good training grounds to boost the kids’ self-confidence and great ways to showcase their efforts in the camp. As parents, we took time off from our work to lend them our moral support. They were all ecstatic to see us at the presentation!
