Two things play a big part at any Chinese New Year gatherings: Conversations and CNY goodies! This year, we are delighted to introduce the delectable range from Pineapple Tarts Singapore which started off as a humble bakery in Penang (David’s hometown) selling homemade pineapple tarts.
They soon became so popular that they opened a total number of 47 outlets selling pastries all around Malaysia by 2000. After realizing there was great demand even from Singaporean customers, they decided to launch an e-commerce site, just for us!
Here are some of their signature CNY Goodies which get our thumbs-up:
1. Melt In Your Mouth – Pineapple Tarts $21.90
Pineapple Tarts Singapore ‘s mouth watering pineapple tarts are baked with the most premium of ingredients and the freshest of pineapple filling. The melt-in-your-mouth, buttery crust literally just crumbles with each bite. Combined with the chockfull of sweet and sour of the pineapple filling, these tarts will definitely make you ask for more.
2. Cheezylicious – Cheese Pineapple Tarts $24.90
Parmesan cheese is fused together with the crust to bring about a perfect combination. Our daughter who is a cheese lover simply loves this!
3. Crispy Sia – Prawn Roll $14.90
Pineapple Tarts Singapore ‘s all-time favorite Nyonya prawn rolls fried to a crispy golden brown texture, a guaranteed crunch in every bite! The spiciness of the sambal and the fragrant prawn paste make every bite irresistibly good!
4. Thousand Layer Goodness – Kueh Lapis $39.90
Kueh Lapis is my favorite indulgent CNY snack! They are highly addictive, truly satisfying, with each layer packed with fluffy, rich and moist goodness. Most importantly, this Kueh Lapis is not too oily, with no preservatives added so it’s definitely a healthier option to serve our loved ones.

Pineapple tarts, love letters, bak kwa, prawn rolls, kueh bangkit cookies, pistachio, cashew nuts are the most commonly sought after snacks for Lunar New Year. But my liking for Pineappe Tarts have not fade a second. Be it the fillings are inside or outside, with or without cheese, I love them both; buttery, sweet, cheesy, with a sourish punch, and literally melts in my mouth. Way before CNY, I am already on the look out to source the best pineapple tarts in town, so that I can showcase to my family and friends and give them the best pineapple treats during our festive celebrations. I sincerely hope to be the blessed few to win these irresistible goodies and share with all this CNY.
