The hubs has been to Vietnam on business trips and absolutely full of praises for Vietnamese Cuisine. Back home, a mommy friend heard that we’ve been searching for decent Vietnamese Pho in Singapore and promptly recommended us to try this chic new restaurant in the heart of town.
We headed to NUOC on a weekday lunch and were not disappointed. The restaurant was elegantly decked out in chinois Saigon style and the service was attentive but non-intrusive. The menu was extensive and offered several affordable set lunches to cater to the office crowd. We were in the mood to indulge a little so we ordered not one but two appetizers for a start!
Cripy Deep Fried Batter Prawns |
NUOC Special Chicken Wing |
For the main course, we had to try their Vietnamese Pho of course! The ingredients were fresh and the broth was so sweet that even Dana asked for second helping. The beef slices were cooked to perfection – tender and not rubbery. Hubs commented that this is one of the best Pho he’s tasted n Singapore.
Traditional Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup |
If you like us, are craving for some authentic Vietnamese food, or you wish to warm your tummies with hot soupy stuff on these rainy, blustery days, head over to NUOC for a sumptuous Viet treat! They are offering a generous discounts off the ala carte menu (20% lunch and 10% dinner) for NTUC members from now till 28 Dec 2012. For more details, do visit NUOC’s website.

Hi DinoMama!
Yes the crockery are fine China which addes to the elegance of the dining experience! The fried ‘things’ are actually deep fried garlic, novel isn’t it? And very yummy too! We’re hoping to revisit the restaurant soon to try other unique Viet dishes 🙂
