SQ 237 – Dana’s 1st Flight – To Melbourne we go!
December's such a crazy month that I can only find time to blog about this trip now. Dana's 1st flight was on board an SQ plane bound for Melbourne, Australia on 5 Dec 08 (exactly the day she turned 8 months!). She was a very cooperative baby, slept throughout the flight there and though she caught brochitis on the way back, she gave minimal fuss.As this was a semi-working trip for Daddy, I had the chance to play, have fun and simply bond with Dana without the worries of work. We seldom buy Honeydews as it's too large for 2 of us to finish at one go. Mangoes are in season! At my fav grocer, couldn't resist buying several ripe blushing Australian mangoes to prepare one of our all-time fav desserts - Chilled Mango Sago. Tbe mangoes turned out to be super sweet so I specially saved some and pureed it for Dana. New Item on Dana’s Menu – Nectarine Purees!
Saw some luscious Australian Nectarines on sale at my fav grocer and bought some for Dana to try. She likes it and so do I! The Goodness of Nectarines and Peaches:Did you know that the only difference between Peaches and Nectarines is Nectarines do not have fuzz on its skin like Peaches.
