“Are you sure?” I asked my hubby as he was setting up the system he brought home to surprise me and the kids. “This small round thing is a KARAOKE system?”
In no time, I was waving a microphone in my hand and singing to my favourite JJ Lin and Ed Sheeran tunes together with my kids. Complete with original tracks, music videos and disco lights. I was sold.

To maximize your singing pleasure, Popsical Remix is equipped with vocal optimization to allow us to sing like a professional and vocal modulation effects so we inject some fun into our karaoke party with animated effects such as chipmunk and more.
Songs are quickly accessed via the Popsical App on our mobile phones or smart devices or through the TV screen. Songs can be grouped either in the traditional way of the Singer’s Names and Song Names. It can also be grouped by Languages (and there’s a lot!) and Genres of music. Q1. What is the difference between the Popsical Remix and the previous Popsical system?
The previous Popsical device comes with its dedicated soundbar which the microphone and the Popsical unit is linked to. The sound bar is large and heavy and if there are issues with connectivity, the entire Popsical system can’t be used.
With the Popsical Remix, the control unit can be linked to ANY external speakers with a 3.5mm audio jack. The device for sound output / speakers is up to the user.
The Popsical Remix also features a pair of microphones that are improved with great sound! Also not only does it link seamlessly to the control unit, we could control the acoustic setting on the microphone and app itself! The sound reproduction is so good, we sounded like Pros!
Q2. Why do we need to pay for the monthly subscription?
The monthly fee is to service the copyright fees of these songs as well as new songs to come. With the small amount, we could get original tunes with their high quality original music videos 24/7. If you only need a 24hour pass (say, for a gathering or birthday party), you only need to pay SGD4.99. Now THAT’s VALUE!

thanks for dropping by the blog. We’ve used the Popsical for about a year now and experienced very little static, mostly none. We used it within the confines of a living room with very little interference from other electronic devices. Hope that helps!
Hello. What soundbar did you match the popsical remix with? My sony soundbar didnt work well with the popsical and there was latency effect in the microphone. 🙁
Hi…sorry to hear about the issue with your soundbar. We had subscribed to Popsical since it’s first generation release – the one that came with the portable speaker system. After we change to Remix, we still retained the use of the speaker system and have no issue with latency. I suggest seeking help from the folks at Popsical.
