At ColorWash’s Mommy Blogger Event, we sent in Dana’s winter boots and our hardy Le Sportsac Diaper Bag for ozone cleaning.  Dana had worn this pair of Hello Kitty boots for our Korean vacation last December and I’ve not washed it purely for fear that it won’t dry properly and I might damage the fur. The diaper bag is my favourite travel companion which I carry for all our overseas trips. I usually rinse it with laundry detergent and leave it to air dry. A chat with the affable Ms. Gemma, ColorWash’s Founder and Director made me realise that improper cleaning has caused parts of the diaper bag’s lining to develop yellowish stains and moulds (gasp!).

When the items were ready for collection one week later, I was pleasantly surprised to see the boots and Diaper Bag given a new lease of life. The grime and dirt were totally cleansed and even the stubborn yellow stains inside the bag were gone! It’s amazing.  They have achieved something which home cleaning can’t.  I’ve learned that for some services, you just gotta leave it to the hands of the professionals!
