So here it is, a stroller that weighs only 4.1kg. Holding it up confirms the claim – It’s really so light! In fact, my daughter’s school bag (approx 6 kg with a water bottle strapped to it) weighs heavier than that. If we think about it, there is actually an endless list of everyday items that weigh more than this stroller e.g. a sack of rice, an economy pack of detergent, a carton of printing paper…you get the idea.
So, I was naturally skeptical. Because in the world of strollers, it seems that the caveats for a good stroller includes ‘the bigger, the better’ and ‘the heavier, the better’. We put it to the test by bringing it on a flight overseas during our recent family vacation.
Our User Experience:
The Combi F2 Plus Stroller is feather-weight light but offers absolute stability. Its weight allows us to easily maneuver the stroller even with a single hand. Talking about hands, this stroller opens, closes and locks easily with just one hand– great when we need to bring the baby out on the stroller without anyone’s help or when your hands are full.
The mesh seat is functional yet superbly customized for hot and tropical climate like ours. The mesh seat is strong, comfortable yet light. Buddy is now 12kg but it holds his weight really well. Should extra padding be needed for comfort, the set does come with a detachable customized padding. The Combi F2 plus can also recline from 120 to 165 degree should Buddy want to take a nap.
The stroller surpassed our expectations. On our recent trip to Phuket, it was put through a barrage of ‘tests’ which include being put through the airport conveyor belts, stowed in the plane’s undercarriage, used under the sun and through the sandy beach. It maneuvered uneven paths easily while Buddy was seated comfortably. It comes with an undercarriage basket to store my baby essentials like nappies, bottles, wet wipes and other knick-knacks, very handy. This lightweight wonder has convinced us to never judge a stroller by its weight! In fact, at one instance, we lifted Buddy out of the stroller but forgot that a full diaper bag was still hanging from its handle bar. We gasped for a second, expecting the stroller to topple but it didn’t! It stood firm. We were quite amazed! What a well-made sturdy stroller!
When space and weight are concerned, the stroller is often a bane. Some strollers are so bulky that they are hard to maneuver and difficult to stow away conveniently. Sometimes for convenience’s sake, we do choose to use the baby carrier over the stroller but when attending formal functions, events or attending to matters of urgency, having a baby strapped to the chest may not be the most ideal. With the Combi F2 Plus, these concerns are a thing of the past. In fact, so impressed are we that we are using it now on a regular basis instead of treating it as a travel or weekend stroller!

Love the Extended canopy cover for complete comfort and protection from the weather. I have to bring my Little 2 year old to school daily and it can be really hot. Especially when her school starts in the afternoon.
Convenient storage basket is great because I go market often with my Little Girl. I can store some of my purchases in the basket!

What attracts me to the Combi F2 Plus stroller is easy 1 hand closing and super light weight at 4.1kg. Opening and closing the pram will be easy and wont be a chore.
Bringing my newborn and toddler out is never a easy task as lugging my pram around and boarding the bus is a gym session. Why? Cause my pram is nearly 7kg. I need both hands to close the pram fully.

I am really impressed that a 4 kg stroller like Combi F2 plus has fully reclining seats. Most strollers that are lightweight do not have features as great as this. Hope to win one for my 1.5 year old for our mini-adventures, both in Singapore and abroad. It will definitely be easier maneuvering this stroller with my preschooler tagging along. My baby will be due in Jan next year and Combi stroller is always my first choice. Now with this Combi F2 Plus stroller which is lightweight and can use from newborn onwards, it totally fits my bill.

I have a baby n a toddler… always avoided using bus as how to manage with 2 kids, a stroller (need 2 hands to close it), diaper bag n groceries!!! We mom are supermoms but not muscle moms… with this lightweight n 1 hand closure, I would have no problem being muscle supermom ???
There are so many features that are great about this Combi F2 Plus Stroller. What I love most is that it is lightweight, easy to fold, it has a mesh backrest and reclinable to 165 degrees. It is even suitable for a newborn!
I would really love to own one of these because I think it would be perfect for our young family who loves to travel and takes the public transport on a regular basis. I have a toddler and is due with our second one in January. I take our old stroller with us when I do my errands and it is rather difficult to fold when we take the bus. I have to carry the pram and hold my boy’s hand at the same time. Combi F2 would be a breeze to fold and easy to carry as well, which saves me the hassle.
