The year-end season is a time for gatherings. Whether it’s with families, colleagues or friends, it’s a wonderful time to slow our pace and catch-up over a nice meal, perhaps even usher in the new year together!
However, not many of us have the bandwidth to whip-up a Christmas meal let alone host one. Then after the meal, there’s the cleaning up ‘operation’ . Before you know it, what was envisioned as a relaxed gathering has just morphed into a highly-strung nightmare (esp for the cook!)! This is where having a Christmas meal at a reputed restaurant comes in.
Famed for it’s succulent ‘Sticky Bones’ ribs and other quality western family fare, Morganfield’s Christmas Menu, available from 13 November to 31 December 207, will be your best bet to pamper yourself and your loved ones this festive season. You can opt to make a reservation to dine in their cosy restaurants or pre-order their Christmas delivery sets to enjoy in the comfort of your own home (or office or party venue)!
Here are some dishes we highly recommend from the Morganfield’s Christmas Menu:
1. Cranberry Sticky Bones (S$29.90++/half slab or S$46.90/full slab)
Made with Cranberries, this festive fruity sweet sauce compliments the taste of the ribs so well. The meat literally falls off the bones and we’ve never tasted ribs so succulent as the ones here!
2. Hazelnut Sticky Bones (S$29.90++/half slab or S$46.90/full slab)
Deliciously aromatic and savory, served with fries and coleslaw. This is a complete meal in itself. Very satisfying and irresistible!
3. Crackling Pork Roast (S$38.90+. For take-away only. Orders to be made 3 days in advance)
Pork Belly roasted and braised to deliver tender and juicy meat, paired with crispy crackling skin (omg, it was SO good!). You can’t get enough of it.
4. Roast Chicken (S$32.90+. For take-away only. Orders to be made 3 days in advance)
Juicy, plump chicken, stuffed with rosemary, onions, celery, carrots then roasted with potatoes. Good for children!
5. Morgan’s Christmas Feast Platter (S$149.90++)
This Christmas Feast Platter is not only a feast for the eyes but a hearty gastronomical delight! It comes with half a slab of Cranberry Sticky Bones and Hazelnut Sticky Bones each, 600g of Crackling Pork Roast, 200g of Gammon Ham (kids love this!), 3 pcs of Sausages, Garden Salad, Roasted Potatoes, 3 pcs of Cornbread, 2 pcs of Mexican Grilled Corns, Roasted Cauliflower and Roasted Pumpkin. Sumptuous and reminiscent of celebrating a plentiful harvest! This platter can easily feed 4 Adults and 4 Kids. Such value for money!
6. Black Forest Lava Cake (S$16.90++)
A twist on the classic Chocolate Lava Cake, this one comes with a rich, chocolatey dark cherry filling. One serving just wasn’t enough for the 3 of us!

I would love to reconnect with my relatives who will be coming back to Singapore for the Christmas holidays. I have not seen some of my nieces and nephews for the past 5 years and it would be the most heartwarming moment to fetch them from the airport and see how much they have grown and whether they still recognize their dear aunt. Christmas is nearing and it’s not only the season of giving but also the best opportunity to spend time with those we cherish! Who else better than my mom to enjoy this Christmas with, as she has given me the best life I’ll ever need, one that is filled with happiness, friends and two brothers who I’ll always cherish! There’s nothing better than this, than to have someone as special as her to spend this Christmas with!
