Tuesday’s Thoughts – Stories that Bind…
There was an article published in the New York Times entitled 'The Stories that Bind Us'. I read it last night and found myself nodding to many points mentioned in the insightful piece. Image Source Living in this information overload age where one is constantly attuned to media updates (think news-feed from Fb, Twitter, Instagram etc); where addiction to information technology erodes the quality of family interactions (picture Daddy working on laptops, Kids playing … [Read more...]
Photo *Heart* Fridays – Thank God for BFFs!
Dana and Victoria both take swimming lessons under the same coach. The girls, one year apart, bonded really well with each other this school holidays. We brought Vic with us to the Disney on Ice show and Vic's Mommy ferried Dana to and fro for the Apple Pie Mandarin Drama Camp this week. The blossoming friendship between these two young ladies is a blessing. Apart from Vic, Dana also gets along very well with M&M sisters in our estate. We thank God for sending Dana BFFs!“We'll be … [Read more...]
A Birthday Wish I wish I can Fulfill…
Dana's 5th Birthday is soon approaching...If anyone asked what her birthday wish is, she would give this same resolute reply, 'I wish for a baby brother or a baby sister...All my classmates have Didi or Meimei...I wish I can have one too..." Each time I hear Dana make such a request, a heavy feeling would weigh upon my heart. I wish she would wish for anything else - new toys, new books, a trip to Legoland perhaps, or a new shoes, new clothes, anything else under the Sun, if it's within my … [Read more...]

So when we were invited to a Media Preview of this 'Fascinating Russia' Ice-Skating Extravaganze at Changi Airport, we knew we … [Read more...]
Snapshots of a Fun Carnival!

We were told this is a long lasting tradition where the entire family comprising of Principals, teachers, staff, parents, students and even alumni come together to raise funds for the school. We found it meaningful and did our part to chip in by buying carnival coupons, donating food to be sold for lunch and Daddy volunteering as the Event Photographer.Let us revisit the Carnival through his lens...The Harding Campus is a very … [Read more...]

The beautiful ArtScience MuseumThe hubs had been wanting to bring Dana and I to this exhibition since beginning of the year but the non-museum rat in me kept procrastinating it. Last Friday, he had the rare afternoon off and insisted on bringing us to ArtScience Museum before it ends its run. Not wanting to dampen anyone's spirits, I tagged along only to be a happy convert at the end. Here's why.We are finally here!At the entrance, we were given a brief background of the man behind these … [Read more...]
