The Christmas tree is up, with it, our favourite Christmas carols plays in the background and an atmosphere of peace and joy fills the air. It is an annual tradition for us to put up the tree to usher in our favourite month of the year and we rope in Dana to dress it up with ornaments, many of which Daddy and I accumulated from our travels around the world. Today, we’ll show you a few of our fav things around the home during Christmas.
A pair of wooden clogs from Amsterdam, Holland |
A small ski-bear from Lucerne, Switzerland…
|
Hand-painted Glass Baubles from Salzburg, Austria… |
A hand-painted Christmas sock from me to the hubs… |
And this is his to me… |
A beautiful Turkish ‘Eye’ from Turkey… |
The Star of David and the Cross coloured by Dana which adorn the front door… |
This year, I’ve made a Family Christmas Banner using photographs from our Disneyland trip and hung it at the doorway. It gives me a fuzzy warm feeling each time we stepped home to be greeted by these happy pics and bright Christmas colours. A simple but instant way to add to the festive cheer.

Such gorgeous photos and what a nice Family Banner / Bunting! So meaningful! I can see it above a fireplace (if we even have that!) or across the mantel! LOL. 🙂 Lovely post Angeline! Thanks for sharing
