When David and I wed in 1999, we yearned very much for a child to complete our family. For those who know, we spent 9 long years seeking this dream. When Dana was born in 2008, our family was complete.  

Families are the cornerstone of any society. Families nurture, preserve and pass the values and virtues we hold dear onto the next generation. In the family, we learn our first lessons of love and discipline, respect and responsibilities, empathy and compassion for others.  David and I being educators at heart, are firm believers that a happy family is the foundation of a functional, healthy society. We need to intentionally devote energy and time with our families to build memories that matter.  We are therefore ecstatic and very honoured to be selected as a UFamily Blog Champion to advocate this cause. 

U Family is a community that advocates the building of strong and happy families. Besides organising family bonding events, U Family also makes networking accessible, parenting information available and family activities affordable. There is even an Unofficial School for Parents with school-going children to prepare them for Primary School exams and nurture their children’s learning development through workshops.

We are no stranger to UFamily’s events, having attended its Romancing U Movie Nights and Family Night Out@The Museum even before we were blog champions.  Their events help families bond in fun, interactive and informal settings. I’ll like to invite and urge families to participate in these two exciting UFamily Events coming up:

Family Night Out Mega Dance
