On 24 Nov, Dana made a debut at her pre-school’s year end concert. Being her very 1st concert ‘appearance’, it was no doubt a BIG milestone for her and a much awaited event for us. Prior to the concert, parents were kept in suspense so the hall was filled with anxious parents who came early, armed with their digital cameras, DSLRs and viewcams (us included). The concert was to start at 5pm with the toddler’s item scheduled as the last. We were worried that Dana might be cranky, hungry or impatient having to wait backstage for their turn but when the curtains were drawn, this was what greeted us:
Her brilliant smiles say it all – that she’s confident and extremely happy to be part of this concert. Once the music played, she danced and moved according to the beat and rhythm. In total, the toddlers performed 2 items – an English Song and a Chinese song. We were almost moved to tears as we witnessed our little budding star shining on stage and having her 1st moments of ‘glory’!
You’re truly a star baby and you made Mommy and Daddy so proud with your 1st concert performance! We thank God for the preschool teachers for grooming you and giving you these opportunities. May you continue to blossom under their guidance and care 🙂

Hi glad to see Dana and her lovely smile again after such a long interval! I just saw your reply to my question asking abt Dana’s 1st yr’s celebration a few days ago!!!The question was asked in 2009 and you replied quite fast actually!! But that time, I wasn’t sure how I could get the reply as I am considered IT illiterate, and I didnt know u could reply thru my comment and I didnt check that, as my blog is not disclosed to anyone, it is just my personal diary. So sorry that I did not response…until now…
