Same Safe Thrilling Experience!
The amazing thing about taking the Skyline Luge is that despite the speed and thrill, it is actually a very safe ride for young kids and adults. This makes the Skyline Luge one of the most popular attractions in Sentosa. Kids as young as 3 or 4 years old can start riding the Luge with an adult while older kids can manoeuvr the Luge on their own with relative ease. Our daughter Dana was hooked on the Luge since she first tried it few years back.

Twice the Thrills!
The Skyline Luge has just launched 2 new trails (making it a total of 4 Luge trails now) plus a totally new Skyride experience.
The 2 New Trails: Expedition and Kupu-Kupu
Designed for the intermediate to advance riders, the 2 new routes branch off from the existing Jungle Trail. These routes though slightly shorter than the existing Dragon and Jungle Trails, offer more twists, turns and corners.
The Expedition Trail – This trail features more short and sharp turns. Clearly, this is for the experienced thrill-seeker (which I cannot get enough of). Very exciting and fast!
The Kupu-Kupu Trail – This trail is named after ‘butterflies’ (Malay: Kupu-Kupu) as its name suggests it is meant to give the rider a graceful and light experience negotiating it’s turns which are lesser and are wider than the rest. I think this trail works well with beginners.
The new Skyride experience rides alongside the existing one albeit slightly lower. Hence it offers a view that is quite the same as the existing ride but with the new trails, there is a new waiting area which will reduce the wait times significantly, esp. on weekends and public/school holidays, so you can go on it again and again!
Maximising Your Luge Experience
1. Set aside at least 1.5 hours for the best Luge experience. While the Luge ride is rather fast, you have to factor in wait time both at the original Luge ride and as well as the Skyride.
2. Buy a Combo Ticket! Based on our experience, once is truly not enough. So you may like to start with the ‘4 Luge and Skyrides’ option or the ‘4 Rides Family Pass’ to start. Note that children below 6 years old or under the minimum height of 110 cm need to ride in tandem with an adult 17 years and up.
3. Try the Night Ride: The Luge routes take a different feel at night. Apart from the stunning evening views from the Skyride, the thrill factor increases at night when the routes are lit by brightly coloured lights zooming by as you luge down. It’s an incredible experience which you must try!
4. Get a GoPro attached to a Chest’/Head Strap: The GoPro Hero 6 is truly amazing! Apart from being compact and durable, it gives excellent 4K videos. Best of all, the amazing stabilizer minimizes shakes and movements so your video footages will not turn out shaky!
Once is Truly Never Enough:
We are big fans of the Sentosa Skyline Luge. With the addition of the 2 new exciting routes, it truly delivers a ‘Once is Never Enough’ experience for everyone in the family, whether young or old. Bring your family this school holidays to experience it!
