I was excited to receive the invitation to review this ingenious learning ‘toy’ which has taken USA by storm. Once Dana opened the package, she has been playing with it during her ‘quiet time’ in the evenings. Looking at her interest and motivation, I knew we had uncovered a winner in Wikki Stix.

The wonderful thing about Wikki Stix is that they are incredibly open-ended. You can leave them with the child and watch the stix be manipulated into just about anything. Wikki stix can also be adapted to supplement your home teaching. Kids can use them to form letters, shapes, animals, balls, numbers and even 3D figurines.

For Mommies with younger kids, Wikki Stix faciliate quiet independent play which helps to  free up some precious time to catch up on our meals or showers! I scoured Wikki Stix’s website for fun ideas to maximise the sample set we received:
