The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Eric Carle Favourites

Shopping for Kids’ Bunk Bed at Star Living
For most Singaporeans, we live in apartments where space is a premium. During our recent move, we decided to get the kids a bunk bed to save space. Yes, although the new home is slightly bigger, the kids are also growing bigger and all needed more living space. Our 9 year-old needs more space for her books, her study desk and even a place for her to read and wind down, while our 3 year-old has taken a strong liking to vehicular toys (read big chunky toys) as well as irregular shaped board books. … [Read more...]

Review of SRT’s Red Riding Hood 小红帽 (Mandarin)
My kids and I are huge supporters of Singapore Repertory Theatre's The Little Company. Their past children productions both in English and Mandarin (like Three Billy Goats Gruff, Charlotte's Web, The Ugly Duckling, Goldilocks, Treasure Island etc.) have never failed to wow us with their ingenious adaptions of plots, incredibly earnest acting, original music compositions and witty dialogues.
