Banana Tofu Puree

""Tofu is a soybean curd and unfermented soy and is a great source of iron, protein and calcium. As Tofu is a soy product, you should not offer it to a baby who has any allergy to soy.

Although tofu has almost no taste of its own, it combines well with either fruit or vegetables to make a creamy puree.

Ingredients
1 small banana 50g

3oz soft Tofu (I bought the Organic Silken Tofu from NTUC)

Method:1. Steam tofu for 5 mins (*optional)

2. Peel and mash the banana

3. Mix together with the tofu

4. Blend into a smooth puree and serve

Note: Tofu may be stored in the fridge for up to 7 days. You must store it in a container that is airtight. You can also mix tofu with other fruits like pureed mango, papaya, avocado, pears on their own or mixed with banana.
