How to select Nectarines and Peaches?

""Once picked, a Peach or a Nectarine will not get any more sweet or ripe. A Peach or a Nectarine will however become softer and will also become juicier. When selecting these fruits, you want to ensure that there are no cuts or bruising on the fruit. Purchase peaches and nectarines that are firm yet slightly yielding when gently pressed.

How to Prepare Nectarines:

1. Deskin fruit
2. Pit the Peach or Nectarine
3. Cut into slices
4. Steam for 5 mins or until soft & tender
5. Place fruit(s) into blender for pureeing
6. Add the water from steaming as necessary to achieve a smooth, thin puree
7. Add cereal (if desired) to thicken up before feeding baby
8. Freeze extra portions
