We made an impromptu trip to the Zoo today before Daddy’s leave ends. It’s Dana’s 2nd trip to the Zoo and this time round, we managed to see more animals as our visit coincided with the feeding sessions at the Treetop Trail and the Rainforest Habitat. The weather was nice and breezy after a heavy downpour early in the morning.

""Our Princess at 14 months is more alert now and she was visibly excited to spot the animals today. Among the many: the White faced Masaki Monkey, the Ring-tailed Lemur, the Nyala (a type of female deer), Zebras, Leopards, Giraffes, Lions, Rhinos and the Malayan Flying Fox (world’s largest bat). She even reached out to touch a butterfly and trailed some ducks!

""
We ended our route at the Rainforest KidzWorld for Dana to engage in some waterplay. To our surprise, she was rather apprehensive as she’s not used to the feeling of having water splash onto her head and face (we still bathe her seated in a bathtub with a hankie). Nevertheless, our brave princess tried out the few water stations with Daddy as her custodian!
