We just got back from a short getaway to Bangkok…a destination which we last visited in 2000 as a young couple…I’m thankful that despite hubby’s hectic workload, he managed to set aside few days to grant my desire for a regional getaway…we’ve both been feeling we’ve neglected each other of late and this trip, though short, was a good one. We visited new sites, tried new cuisines and even indulged in Thai massages two days in a row…something which we’ve never done before.

So I’m thankful to God for the provision of resources (time and finance) to make this trip and for safety and good health throughout. Dana sustained a nasty fall barely 2 days after our return and is now immobilized in cast but we thank God for protecting her from sustaining worse injuries; Also, thank God that it happened AFTER the trip (not before) else we would have to cancel it altogether.

Bangkok has evolved to be a busy cosmopolitan city but it manages to retain its rustic charm. I’ll be sharing more in the days to come. Stay tuned!
