The closest we can compare to, which we\nhave been, is the forest play area in Bali and Phuket where it is formed right\ninto the jungle areas amidst towering native trees. EXCELLENT!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new waterplay area\nis like Singapore\u2019s Adventure Cove but bigger with larger tubes and waterplay\nareas.&nbsp; Like Singapore\u2019s it is situated\nwithin a forested area making it quite cooling and certainly has a more nature\nfeel than say\u2019 Legoland. &nbsp;Singapore\u2019s has\nactivities with a bit more \u2018G-forces\u2019 while Legoland has more child-friendly\nactivites.&nbsp; This makes Escape Park Waterplay\na good go-between between Legoland Malaysia and that of Adventure Cove here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Is there an age limit?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The park has activities\nfor all beginning from age 4 and up. Age limits are specific to the type of\nactivities. In addition to that, certain activities do have height and weight\nrequirements. For teens and adults, as long as you are fit and healthy, you\u2019re\ngame to play.&nbsp; For waterplay activities,\nit\u2019s good that participants can swim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more info on the\nactivities: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.escape.my\/activities\">https:\/\/www.escape.my\/activities<\/a>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>How long should I spend there?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The queue for most of\nthe attractions is not too long averaging around 15 \u2013 20 mins. However due to\nthe diverse range of activities, we would usually spend one whole day there\nalthough I think 2 days would be better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We would normally arrive\nfirst thing in the morning and stay till almost closing time.&nbsp; One of the activities that has the longest\nwait time is the Monkey Business where participants need to go through a short\nbriefing plus harnessing. Moreover there are participants who may need time\ngetting acquainted to the activities hence slowing the pace down for others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more info on the\nactivities: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.escape.my\/activities\">https:\/\/www.escape.my\/activities<\/a>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Can I just buy tickets to a selected part of the park? <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>No. The good thing is\nthat one ticket price gives you access to all activities and the entire park\ngrounds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are also\nvalue-added ticket packages for those who want visit beyond one day.&nbsp; Do also note that admission tickets do not\nallow for multiple entries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more info on\ntickets: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.escape.my\/ticketprices\">https:\/\/www.escape.my\/ticketprices<\/a>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Where do I get food and drinks there?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>No food and drinks from\nexternal places are allowed in.&nbsp; Within\nthe park there are kiosk where food and drinks are served. When buying the\ntickets you can top-up some credit value to your admission and cite a special\ncode to pay for your food and drinks cashlessly (really convenient!) but keep\nthe code safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Where do I keep my valuables?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Lockers with multiple\naccess are available to rent for a small charge.&nbsp; However as the lockers are not very large, do\nlimit your belongings to the essentials. From experience, the lockers can hold up\nto about 2 sets of change of clothes, towels and shoes but nothing too\nelaborate.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do note that lockers are\nwithin the park area after entering.&nbsp; The\ntickets do not allow for multiple entries hence you may not be able to access\nyour belongings if kept in the car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Is it only accessible by car?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Aside from driving there in a car, ESCAPE is assesible by public buses as well as the \u2018HoHo\u2019 (Hop on, Hop off) bus.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read our post here for\nmore info on accessing ESCAPE via HOHO Bus : <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifestinymiracles.com\/2015\/10\/penangattractions\/\">https:\/\/www.lifestinymiracles.com\/2015\/10\/penangattractions\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Are there a shower facilities?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes there are large but\nbasic shower facilities there however no towels are provided. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Must you be able to swim to experience the waterplay? <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is generally\nadvisable that only those that can swim should participate in ANY water-based\nactivity regardless of venue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>How do you maximise a 1-day visit? <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, here are some tips\nfrom experience:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Buy your ticket early or online so you won\u2019t need to queue.<\/li><li>Go early to avoid the queue<\/li><li>Plan the activities you want to take.&nbsp; There are various activities for different age groups and \u2018adrenaline appetites.\u2019<\/li><li>Attempt the dry play areas first before the waterplay as the dry play sites have activities that may take some time to complete e.g. Monkey Business. <\/li><li>We usually start with Monkey Business early in the day and stay up there till we complete the levels we wanted. Remember that there\u2019s short briefing followed by harnessing session for the activity and it will take time when there\u2019s a crowd.<\/li><li>Plan to have a simple meal there as no food or drinks from external sources are allowed.<\/li><li>Bring along sun block and also mosquito repellent. You will need them.<\/li><li>Smile for their camera!
