We’re very proud of our Singapore Zoo. Despite countless visits, we always managed to do something new each time. Last Friday, we brought Dana and Caleb to the Zoo. As Dana had music rehearsal in the morning, we only arrived at 1pm to be greeted by huge crowds and scorched by blistering heat. The redeeming factor was that the animals were all very active in the afternoons, probably because it was near their feeding times.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival, we decided we should allow the children to navigate us. We gave them each a map, they would each pick an animal they wanna see and lead the way. It was more adventurous that way. When they were lost, they asked the Zoo Rangers for directions! Consider it as imparting some autonomy and life skills…<\/p>\n
