It is the longest running show on Broadway and playing to packed theatres to over 145 million people in 150 cities across 30 countries. Period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each is worthy to hold its own and have been the feather in the cap for\nmany an aspiring musical actor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right from the opening stanza of the Overture to the many unforgettable\ntunes such as &nbsp;\u2018Music of the Night\u2019, and\nthe list goes on, the singing by the cast retains its emotive appeal. On a personal level, seeing the Phantom bringing Christine into his\nlair through the misty river is something that we look forward to and in this production,\nit did not disappoint at all. The Phantom of the Opera tells\nthe tale of a disfigured musical genius who lives and haunts the Paris Opera\nHouse. Enamoured by the beauty of Christine, a young soprano, the Phantom sets\nout to win her heart with an attempt to bring her under his wings as his\nprot\u00e9g\u00e9.&nbsp; The Phantom eventually finds\nout that Christine and Raoul are very much in love and his obsession with\nChristine then takes a turn meandering through passion, jealousy and eventually,\nmadness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>How long does it last?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The show starts at 8pm and ended\naround 1040pm with a short interval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Is it suitable for young children? <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The musical addresses some dark themes of passion and jealousy. It may be more suited for older children, perhaps upper primary school and above.
