Most Singaporeans love Japan and we are no different. After travelling twice to Japan with the kids, we have grown to love the country, her people and the culture. In fact, we get never get enough of it and are returning this December! However loving and appreciating the Japanese culture goes beyond just Sashimi, Sushi and Hello Kitty. This week, there is a wonderful opportunity for Singapore families to discover part of the finer aspects of Japanese culture. <\/p>\n
Sunstar to promote cultural exchange between Singapore and Japan <\/strong><\/p>\n A series of Japanese Calligraphy Art Exhibition and fringe cultural events is taking place from now to October 25, 2017. Hosted by Japan Calligraphy Art Academy, co-organized by Sunstar<\/a> <\/strong>and Japan Creative Centre (Embassy of Japan) and supported by The Mainichi Shimbun \/ Mainichi Shodo Kai, the events promote cultural exchange between Japan and Singapore as well as use Japanese calligraphy as a channel to direct local communities\u2019 attention to the importance of holistic healthcare.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \uf0a7 Japanese Calligraphy Art Exhibition<\/strong><\/p>\n
