But the first thing you\u2019ll notice when you step into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.keioplaza-sapporo.co.jp\/english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Keio Plaza Sapporo<\/a> is that it is spacious. Large, busy but&nbsp;well-organised\u2026everything you can expect in a major Japanese hotel in a large Japanese city. But beyond offering travelers space, there are more pleasant surprises in store.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DsVi--B8ChU?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Big on Service:<\/strong><br \/>\nEven though it\u2019s a large hotel, the moment you reach, you\u2019ll notice that the staff is&nbsp;personable and accommodating. Initially, I assumed&nbsp;our standards are lowered after&nbsp;an almost a 10-hour&nbsp;flight(plus train right)&nbsp;to Sapporo Japan (we had to catch the&nbsp;airport train into the city because we had missed the last hotel shuttle bus) but no. He then patiently introduced the amenities in the room and ensured we are settled in before taking his leave. How\u2019s that for service, at 11.30pm no less?!<\/p>\n<p>During our stay, we&nbsp;experienced the same level of personalized service again and again. From the concierge to the restaurant waiters, everyone we encountered was warm and accommodating. The size of the Family Room took us by surprise&nbsp;\u2013 it was&nbsp;able to accommodate 4 double single beds,&nbsp;a separate living area, a large bay window&nbsp;and a large bathroom that comes with a small personal onsen &#8211; a deep sunken bathtub and a small shower area. The toilet is separate and comes with a state-of-the-art automatic toilet&nbsp;flushing system (it even opens and closes before and after usage, flushed, sanitizes on its own after every use!) We picked up our rental car there (which was prearranged through the hotel) for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifestinymiracles.com\/2017\/01\/driving-in-hokkaido-winter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">self-drive trip to Niseko<\/a>. Getting our rental car within the hotel is such a boon \u2013 we did not have to travel out of the hotel in the&nbsp;frigid Winter temperatures to pick up the&nbsp;car, or worse, having to either lug the luggage to and fro. Moreover, being an official Toyota car rental office, the quality and&nbsp;service are very much assured. Spread them with Hokkaido butter,&nbsp;accompany with a glass of Hokkaido milk&nbsp;and you\u2019re all set for an awesome breakfast!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\"
