This program is so unique and intriguing! It teaches everyone why certain animals should be ‘aliens’ in our homes. Simply because they don’t belong in our homes! The staff presented these very clearly and were very patient to answer questions as children and families learn why our homes are only for certain animals and why not every animal can be a pet.

Tips to Survive Safari Boo!

1)Is there a long queue for activities? Some of these activities require some queuing. E.g. Art and Craft session at Alien Funshop and the Face Painting at Monster Boo. You may want to go early to avoid the long wait.

2) Is it sheltered? It’s held in the River Safari premise which is largely sheltered except for the distance between the open air car park and the park itself.

3) Do I need mosquito repellent? It’s in the outdoors at the River Safari, if you are prone to mozzie bites, you may want to slap on some insect repellent.

4) Is it scary? Especially for young kids? From our experience the programs are not however some younger kids may not be used to seeing mascots etc…so you’d need to prep them.

5) What else do I need to bring? Well, it’s in an largely outdoor area where it can still be humid (though not hot) so best to bring along your own drinking water and be dressed in light and comfy attire.

The greatest ‘fear factor’: Hurry and book your tickets! The greatest ‘fear’ is that the tickets are sold out!
