Children between the ages of 3 to 5 are beginning to exert and exercise the reins of independence. Apart from learning to feed and dress themselves, they also become more responsible for their personal hygiene – learning to use a toilet on their own, to wash their hands and use a tissue when needed. As parents, we should enable children to grow, flourish and function independently under our protection.<\/p>\n
