Reaching over 70,000 children and their families in 2013 with excellent productions like The Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and The Frog Prince, Singapore Repertory Theatre‘s The Little Company has established a reputation for staging quality plays based on well-loved classics for young audiences.

This year, The Little Company (TLC) opens its 2014 season with a witty retelling of ‘Rapunzel’ – Disney’s 10th and newest princess. Loosely based on the German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, the creative team has created a fun and entertaining new remake with music specially written for 2-6 year olds.

The first time we brought Dana to a movie theater was to watch Disney’s ‘Tangled’ way back in 2010. Being barely 3 years old, Dana was afraid of the wicked witch and clung to me for dear life. I on the other hand, was enchanted with the stunning animation and beautiful soundtracks especially this piece, ‘I see the light’.
